Roles and Responsibilities: As a General Teaching Assistant in KS1, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of young students. Your responsibilities will include: Classroom Assistance: Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Individual Support: Work with students on a one-to-one or small group basis, addressing their specific learning needs. Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing and organising learning materials, ensuring a conducive and interactive learning environment. Behaviour Management: Help maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom, implementing behavior management strategies when necessary. Assessment Support: Contribute to the assessment and feedback process, providing valuable insights into students' progress. Collaboration: Work closely with the teaching staff, parents, and other professionals to create a collaborative and supportive educational environment. Qualifications and Skills: Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School setting is essential.
