Service Engineer

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Systems Engineer to join a global engineering manufacturer. Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Systems Engineer will ideally be both electrically and mechanically competent with some knowledge of programming. The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Systems Engineer shall carry out pre-planned Service, Commissioning, Installation and Breakdown visits on a wide range of strapping machinery. Package £40,000 - £45,000 Company Car / Mobile Phone/ Laptop Company Bonus Scheme Birthday leave 25 Days Paid Holiday Responsibilities: Carry out pre-planned Service, commissioning, Installation and Breakdown visits on a wide range of wrapping machinery and associated electrical/mechanical equipment. Conduct routine maintenance to minimise downtime and enhance machine performance. Produce detailed service reports, documenting work completed, key findings, and recommendations. Reports must be professional, accurate, and customer-ready. Liaise with various engineering departments Full product training provided Will ideally be based in in the Northeast but be flexible to travel across the UK and Ireland. Requirements: Experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Systems Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Service Technician or similar. Field service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering equipment. Full UK driving license. Flexible for overtime/part of the on-call rota. A technical electrical/mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or would be advantageous. Happy to cover North East and be flexible to travel across the UK and Ireland
