Day-to-day of the role: Deliver high-quality, engaging, and effective English lessons at GCSE level, ensuring high levels of student achievement. Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience and meet diverse learning needs. Regularly assess and review student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster development. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and participate in departmental activities. Support students in their academic and personal development, guiding their career ambitions and helping them to realise their potential. Contribute to the creation of a supportive and inclusive educational environment that encourages student engagement and a sense of community. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in teaching English at GCSE level, with a track record of achieving positive student outcomes. Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the strategies required to motivate and inspire students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise and connect with young people. A strong commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices.
