Senior Process Engineer

JB378: Senior Process Engineer Salary: Competitive Location: Melksham Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: Continuous improvement of processes, using Lean tools, participating in and leading Kaizens. Process engineering, problem solving and implementing solutions in a timely manner. Managing and presenting data and improvement plans. Support NPI and specification of new equipment. Manage change process and documentation. Responsibility for all moulding processes. Skills and Qualifications: 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with Lean methodology. Problem solving skills and methodology. Good communication skills. Ability to read technical drawings. IT skills (Excel Visio). Practical hands-on person. Leadership skills. Project management experience. Significant process engineering exposure in an engineering-based manufacturing environment. Desirable: Knowledge of materials (rubber, metallurgy, plastics). Basic finance. CAD skills.
