Teaching Assistant Location: Wakefield region , West Yorkshire Contract: Full-time Duration: Long-Term Salary: £85-£95 per day (dependent upon experience) We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in a vibrant learning environment, supporting children in Year 6 . This is a full-time role to start in January and continuing until the school Summer holidays . Day to Day of the role: Assist with classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment. Support individual students with their academic and social development. Collaborate with teachers to create engaging lesson materials and resources. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with additional needs. Monitor student progress and report back to teaching staff, contributing to the overall success of the classroom. Required Skills & Qualifications: Relevant experience working with children or young people is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students to succeed.
