Job Description

Who You Are You hold a Degree in Social Work (Upper Second minimum) and HPCP registration. You have a deep knowledge of child development, social policies, and legislation, especially safeguarding. You possess excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, and are proficient in computer literacy for case management. Your experience includes working directly with children and engaging with parents/caretakers, while prioritizing children's needs. You have worked in culturally diverse environments, respecting principles of diversity and equality. Desirably, you understand Attachment theories and have completed Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE). With over 5 years of experience, you are ready to join a dynamic team in a specialized role. What the Job Involves Conduct assessments and manage care for disabled children and their families, aligning with key legislation. Recommend services based on Children services criteria and manage social work services for assigned users. Develop, monitor, and evaluate care plans in collaboration with families and agencies. Comply with financial regulations and maximize budgetary resources for family support. Utilize IT for data management and complete required documentation efficiently. Participate in supervision and training for continuous professional development. Engage actively in meetings, peer supervision, and adhere to the Council's Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety policies. Prepare legal documents and participate in court proceedings as required by Children Services. Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet statutory obligations. Interact with internal teams and external groups, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Uphold stringent equality standards within your practice and contribute to a safe workplace environment.
