Teaching Assistant | Primary School | Wandsworth, London (SW15) | January 2025 Start | Long-term to Permanent | £95 - £105 per day Long Term Futures is collaborating with a welcoming primary school in Wandsworth and we are seeking a Teaching Assistant. This role focuses on supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) through tailored interventions, small group work and general classroom support. Key Responsibilities: Deliver general classroom support, and targeted SEN support through small group sessions and one-to-one interventions Work alongside the SENCo and class teacher to design and implement individualised education plans Assist in creating tailored study areas to provide focused learning environments for students with Special Educational Needs. Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports all learners Adapt learning materials and teaching strategies to meet the needs of children. Monitor student progress, providing feedback to staff and parentsThe perfect candidate for this role will have: Previous experience working with SEN children in a school or similar setting A calm, patient, and flexible approach to supporting young learners Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the SENCo, teachers, and support staff A Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent is highly desirable A commitment to creating positive learning experiences for children with SENBenefits: Free Training Opportunities.
