Job Title: Caretaker Location: Leeds Salary: Competitive Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of communal areas, ensuring a pleasant environment for all residents. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning Communal Areas: Mopping and hand wiping down hard surface areas to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Bin Store Maintenance: Cleaning bin stores to ensure they are accessible and safe for our customers. Litter Picking: Regularly picking up litter around the estate to keep the area tidy. Minor Repairs: Undertaking minor repairs as needed to maintain the property. Health & Safety Inspections: Conducting H&S inspections. Safety Checks: Carrying out weekly, 4-weekly, 6-monthly, and 12-monthly safety checks, including but not limited to testing fire alarms, smoke vents, and emergency lights. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards. Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently. Willingness to undergo training for H&S inspections.
