Head of Inspection

Are you an expert in quality assurance with strong leadership skills and experience in programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)? We are looking for a dedicated Head of Inspection to join a growing team and ensure the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing process. In this key role, you will be responsible for programming CMMs using PC DMIS software, supporting technical operations, and overseeing the inspection department. Your responsibilities as a Head of Inspection: Developing CMM programs, inspection schedules, and FAIR/ISIR documentation at the start of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with customer requirements. Collaborating with internal teams and customers to review drawings, establish measurement methods, and resolve quality issues. Leading the inspection team, providing training, and offering support as needed. Your current experience which will help you as a Head of Inspection: Proven experience in programming CMMs using PC DMIS or similar software for precision machined components. Background in a dynamic inspection environment, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high standards. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Familiarity with PPAP and visual FAIR processes is a benefit.
