CNC Gear Grinder (Weekends)

Are you an experienced CNC Gear Grinder with a passion for precision engineering? Do you have a proven track record of setting and operating gear grinding machines to produce high-quality components? As a CNC Gear Grinder, you will become an integral part of the production team. You will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality components. Your responsibilities as a CNC Gear Grinder: Work from detailed drawings, process sheets, tooling instructions, and standard charts to identify component and manufacturing specifications. Set, programme, edit, operate, and run state-of-the-art gear grinding machines. Compute data such as dimensions, speeds, feed rates, and machine times to ensure precision. Determine the best practice machining methods for each part based on your experience. Collaborate with the team leader and works manager to resolve issues and meet customer specifications. Operate multiple machines as required to meet production targets. Your current experience which will help you as a CNC Gear Grinder: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Extensive experience working with precision components. Demonstrable experience with gear grinding machinery, with Hoffler experience being advantageous. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a manufacturing environment. What you can expect as a CNC Gear Grinder: Up to £22 per hour, dependent on experience Friday, Saturday, Sunday (1.3x Rate on Saturday & Sunday) Healthcare cash plan scheme. Company pension.
