Multi Vehicle Mechanic - Experience required Job Type: Full-time or Part-time Location: Gloucester Salary: Standard Technician £16-19.50/hour - Master Technician - £20-24/hour Reed are seeking skilled Vehicle Mechanics to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles, including cars, vans, and HGVs. This role requires a professional who is adept at using diagnostic equipment to identify and repair mechanical issues, ensuring high-quality service and safety standards are met. Day to day of the role: Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. Perform routine maintenance and thorough vehicle inspections. Utilize diagnostic equipment to accurately identify mechanical problems. Work collaboratively with other mechanics and team members to enhance service quality. Adhere to all safety precautions to prevent accidents and protect against hazardous fluids and chemicals. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic. In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles. Proficiency in using vehicle diagnostic systems and methods. Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively. Commitment to observing all safety precautions and protocols. Qualifications: A vocational school certification or completion of an apprenticeship is highly preferred.
