Logistics Coordinator

Job Description: A leading manufacturer company specializing in providing high-quality packaging solutions is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing a team of 5 individuals, ensuring the efficient operation of logistics functions and smooth delivery processes. Location: Maitland, Cape Town Key Responsibilities: Lead and managed a team of 5 logistics staff, ensuring all tasks were completed on time and according to company standards. Plan and oversee the delivery schedules, managing resources to ensure effective and economical operations. Coordinate with various departments, including production and sales, to ensure timely deliveries and stock management. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards. Prepare and maintain essential documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, and reports. Key Requirements: Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a strong understanding of the logistics industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a small team. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Valid drivers license, with experience operating logistics equipment (e.g., forklifts) preferred.
