Actuarial Software Developer

My client is looking for an Actuarial Software Developer to join their Sandton, Johannesburg Offices. Requirements: · Ability to analyse complex actuarial processes and translate them into efficient software solutions. · Skilled in troubleshooting issues within legacy systems like Delphi, particularly with flat file architectures, and determining optimal paths for modernisation. · Solid understanding of Delphi's development environment, object-oriented programming, and Pascal. · Capable of maintaining and enhancing legacy Delphi systems while planning long-term upgrades. · Strong knowledge of database design and management, including experience with flat file systems and relational databases (e.g. MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL).
