Lead DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Experience : 10 to 15 years Location : Bangalore Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in DevOps tools, cloud infrastructure, and automation practices. You will lead the design, implementation, and management of robust, scalable, and secure DevOps processes that align with our business goals. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient delivery pipelines and system reliability. Key Responsibilities : - DevOps Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to implement best practices in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and system monitoring. - CI/CD Implementation : Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery. - Infrastructure Automation : Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Cloud Infrastructure : Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP, including services like EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and more. - Monitoring and Performance : Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions using tools like CloudWatch to ensure system reliability and performance. - Collaboration : Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency. - Security and Compliance : Implement security best practices and ensure compliance across cloud environments and CI/CD processes. Qualifications : - Experience : 10 years of experience in DevOps, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role. - DevOps Expertise : Proficiency with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git, along with designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines. - Cloud Platforms : Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, RDS, Elastic Cache, SNS, SQS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Infrastructure as Code : Hands-on experience with automation tools like Terraform and configuration management. - Programming Skills : Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to develop and maintain automation scripts. - Collaboration : Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. - Certifications : Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes are a plus.
