Junior Financial Controller

Purpose of the Position Management of day-to-day accounting functions. Key Performance Areas Preparation of monthly financial packs, including statement of financial position, statement of income and expenditure, variance reports and all supporting reconciliations Process/Review monthly cashbooks Process/Review creditors payments. Preparation of annual audit pack, including income tax, VAT, salaries. Preparation and maintenance of annual budgets. Preparation and Monitoring cashflows Overall management of the General Ledger, including monthly accruals & provisions. Competencies Required Accountability Figure orientated Attention to detail Decision making and problem solving Must be well spoken and presented as this candidate will communicate to individuals on all levels Accurate reporting Qualifications & Experience Accounting Degree or similar qualification Knowledge of Accpac Advanced Excel Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
