Job Description
1. The Network Engineer is accountable to the planning manager for RAN solutions to be delivered. BSC/RNC rehoming MOCN integration. RAN-to-cMME integration Decommissioning of legacy core network nodes 2. The individual projects are highly specialized and as such the Solution Architect will be required to have an in depth understanding of 3GPP Mobile Technologies and thus will be required to have the necessary certifications as such engineering degrees supported by vendor specific training and certifications (Huawei, Ericsson and/or other Private Network vendors), with the supported years of experience in the mobile Infrastructure environment. Assist TFLS team and contribute towards the development of integrated costing models and scenarios for requested solutions 1.1. The Network engineer will have had at least 5 years' experience in radio planning and optimisation of cellular technologies (including LTE and/or NR) with a proven track record 1.2. The Network engineer will have had at least 5 years' experience in the design of enterprise solutions where mobile radio technologies (such as LTE, NR, Wi-fi) is deployed 1.3. The Network engineer will have a 4-year Tertiary Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline from a recognised institution & programming / date analytics certification (advantageous). 1.4. The Network engineer will need to be very familiar with ICT and Radio technologies, concepts and terminology including drafting business cases, preparing the solutions, planning & designs accordingly 1.5. Industry experience in Open RAN and Private Network projects (advantageous) 1.6. Experience in MOCN/MORAN network architectures used for network sharing
