Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake DB

Responsibilities : - ETL Development : Design, develop, and implement robust ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake. - Snowflake Expertise : Leverage Snowflake's capabilities, including SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Tasks, Streams, and Time Travel, to optimize data ingestion, transformation, and querying. - Python Programming : Utilize Python to automate tasks, create custom data transformations, and integrate with other tools and systems. - Data Modeling : Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and design efficient data models. - Data Quality Assurance : Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and integrity. - Performance Optimization : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in ETL pipelines to improve processing time and resource utilization. - Documentation : Create clear and concise documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications. - Collaboration : Work closely with data engineers, data analysts, and business users to understand their needs and deliver effective data solutions. Required Skills and Experience : - Strong proficiency in ETL concepts and best practices - Solid understanding of SQL and Python programming languages - In-depth knowledge of Snowflake, including its features and functionalities - Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts - Ability to write efficient and maintainable code - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Experience with data quality and validation techniques - Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
