Senior IT Support Engineer - Operating Systems

Position : Sr IT Support Engineer. Location : Bangalore(Hybrid). Experience : 6-10 Yrs. Notice Period : Immediate/Serving/30 Days. Skills : Jira, L2 Support, Linux, Windows, Mac, Microsoft 365. Essential : - 1st through 2nd line support experience using a ticketing system such as Jira helpdesk to track and respond to requests. - Linux OS experience (CentOS/Redhat/Unbuntu) to a medium/advanced level. - Microsoft 365/Azure management with powershell/graph. - Microsoft OS experience (Windows 10/11) and Windows Active Directory User management and knowledge of AD infrastructure management. - Hardware/software troubleshooting with regards to user laptops/applications. - Networking knowledge, subnets, routing, VLANS, DNS, DHCP. - Security conscious with understanding of general IT security concepts and methodologies. - Exposure to Vmware and use/management of a virtual machines in general. Knowledge of Proxmox would be advantageous. Desirable : - Computer Science or relevant Degree. - Experience of working in a Software Development company. - Experience of 3rd line support work. - Experience with Atlassian suite of products. - Switch, Firewall management, PFsense/Meraki hardware advantageous. - Experience with AWS or other Cloud platforms.
