The Opportunity
As an Associate Director, you’ll help win new work and lead on business development alongside the practice leaders. Proven experience winning work within the healthcare, science and/or labs sectors is essential. Applicants must have experience as an Architect within the UK
Your Role:
As Associate Director, you will:
- Business Development: Lead project bidding, acquisition, and delivery, maintaining professional standards
- Client Management: Nurture existing business relationships with the practices client base
- Lead Projects: Oversee multiple projects from concept to completion, ensuring design and technical excellence
- Strategic Growth: Collaborate with the leadership team to enhance the practice’s reputation and expand its client network
- Team Leadership: Mentor and motivate teams, fostering a positive and inclusive working environment
- Operational Management: Streamline processes, manage workflows, and oversee resource allocation for project success
- Sustainability: Have a passion for sustainable design and be up to date with current methodologies and processes
About You
We’re looking for an architect with:
- ARB Registration and over 10 years of leadership experience in healthcare, life sciences, or higher education sectors
- Proven experience winning new work within the above sectors
- A passion for high-quality, sustainable design that enhances communities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and lead teams
- Commercial and strategic thinking, with confidence to bring forward ideas and improvements
- Established industry connections and the ability to build long-term client relationships
- The right to live and work in the UK
