The Role
As a BIM Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the BIM processes that underpin the design, development, and delivery of world-class architectural projects. Collaborating with architects, designers, and project teams, you’ll ensure efficient workflows, compliance with industry standards, and the successful integration of BIM technologies.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage BIM data sets to support seamless project delivery.
- Provide technical support for Revit, AutoCAD, and related software.
- Coordinate and troubleshoot BIM processes across multidisciplinary teams.
- Train team members on BIM best practices and emerging technologies.
- Produce accurate Revit models and manage large, multi-disciplinary models.
- Identify clashes and design concerns, ensuring solutions align with project goals.
- Collaborate with project teams to improve workflows and integrate sustainable design principles.
- Advance capabilities in clash detection, data management, and project templates.
About You
To excel in this role, you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in a BIM Coordinator or similar role, ideally in the architectural design industry.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; familiarity with GIS tools is a plus.
- Skills in Rhino, SketchUp, and rendering software such as Lumion or Enscape.
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards and protocols, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and their application in BIM processes.
- A background in architecture or urban design; experience in landscape architecture is welcome but not essential.
