Events Assistant

A dynamic company based in Sandton has a vacancy for an Events Assistant who thrives in fast-paced environments to assist with events for dealers and up-and-coming South African artists. Responsibilities: Event Coordination Support Vendor Liaison & Outreach Event Setup & Breakdown Client Interaction Event Inventory Management Work closely with the Brand Manager to identify and solve any unexpected challenges during events. Your proactive attitude and quick thinking will keep things running smoothly Administrative Support: Handle event-related paperwork, including contracts, invoices, and schedules Pre-Event Coordination: Ensure all vendors and services are confirmed prior to the event day, and that they arrive on time with everything required. Provide support in event run-throughs and rehearsals where necessary Social media & Event Promotion Support: Work with the marketing team to promote events through Rockstar Studios social media channels, assisting with event photos, live updates, and behind-the-scenes content as needed Skills & Qualifications Matric essential Valid drive3rs license and own transport Experience with vendor coordination and client-facing roles Strong organizational skills and experience handling event logistics High-energy with a pro-active personality Strong Communication Skills Attention to Detail Team Player Passion for Events: A genuine interest and enthusiasm for the events industry, and the drive to deliver unforgettable experiences for clients and artists Flexible & Adaptable: Youre comfortable working irregular hours, including nights and weekends when events are scheduled
