Splunk/APM Tools Engineer

Position Overview : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Splunk/APM Tools Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools like Splunk, New Relic, or Dynatrace, along with proficiency in creating dashboards, writing complex queries, and infrastructure automation using Terraform. A background in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies is a plus. Key Responsibilities : - Onboard and integrate servers and applications onto Splunk, New Relic, Dynatrace, or similar APM tools. - Design and develop dashboards and alerts from scratch to provide actionable insights into system performance and health. - Write and optimize complex queries and commands within Splunk, New Relic, Dynatrace, or similar APM tools to analyze and visualize data effectively. - Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform to support scalable and robust system operations. - Work on distributed systems and microservices architecture to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability. - Utilize containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes to deploy, manage, and scale applications efficiently. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Proven hands-on experience with APM tools such as Splunk, New Relic, or Dynatrace. - Strong expertise in creating dashboards, writing complex queries, and setting up alerts in APM tools. - Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) implementation. - Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail (ref:hirist.tech)
