Job Description
Job Description : As an RTL Designer - Design for Power, you will work on state-of-the-art SoC and subsystem designs, focusing on low-power methodologies and delivering high-quality RTL solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, integrate, and verify power-efficient systems. Key Responsibilities : SoC and Subsystem Design : 1. Work on multiple SoC or subsystem design projects. 2. Deliver RTL subsystems and top-level SoC RTL for various projects. Low Power Design Techniques : 1. Implement advanced low-power design techniques such as : 2. Multi-Vth, power, and voltage domain design. 3. Clock gating, power gating, and dynamic voltage frequency scaling (DVFS). 4. Design power components, power modeling, and power trees/network. UPF (Unified Power Format) Development : 1. Prepare and manage UPF for top-level SoC designs. 2. Ensure seamless integration of low-power techniques into the design flow. Integration and Front-End Methodologies : 1. Perform RTL database management, RTL partitioning, and third-party IP integration. 2. Conduct lint checks, DFT (Design for Testability), synthesis, timing, and power analysis. Digital IP Integration : 1. Integrate various digital IPs such as PCIe, SDIO, USB, and ARM processors with protocol knowledge. SoC Integration and Circuit Design : 1. Address SoC integration challenges at both subsystem and full-chip levels. 2. Design top-level clock/reset circuits and memory selection/generation. Preferred Qualifications and Skills : Technical Expertise : 1. Solid experience with power components/modeling and power tree/network design. 2. Proficiency in low-power design methodologies and techniques. 3. Hands-on experience with UPF for SoC designs. 4. Strong knowledge of digital IP integration with protocol familiarity. 5. Expertise in RTL design methodologies for lint, DFT, synthesis, and timing/power analysis. Tools and Technologies : 1. Familiarity with industry-standard tools for RTL design, power analysis, and synthesis. 2. Strong understanding of memory generation and clock/reset circuit design. Soft Skills : 1. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 2. Strong communication and teamwork capabilities. (ref:hirist.tech)
