Senior Materials Technician

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage materials testing, quality control, and technical compliance for major roads projects. Ensure the materials used in construction projects meet SANRAL and Provincial Roads standards. Conduct detailed testing, reporting, and analysis of construction materials. Provide expertise in the selection and use of materials, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. Requirements: BSC/B-Tech or equivalent tertiary qualifications. Minimum of 3 years post-registration as a Pr Technic or Pr Tech Eng. Proven experience as a Senior Materials Technician (SMT) on major roads projects, specifically SANRAL or Provincial Roads. Experience working on at least 3 major roads projects. Strong technical knowledge in materials testing, quality control, and road construction.
