Job Description
We are looking for two suitably experienced business support officers who will carry out the role of a Minute Taker to provide support to Child Protection meetings for a busy Social Care Team.
The office base is currently within the Allendale Road Building in Byker, at times you may be required to attend meetings off site with community settings e.g. schools. Office Hours are Monday to Friday 9-5 pm.
This is a temporary ongoing role to support with staff shortages, with the potential to lead to permanent positions for the right candidates.
As part of the role, you will be required to attend meetings in person and via Teams where family and professionals are in attendance and take notes of discussions held live, produce high quality notes outlining prevalent points raised and decision rationale.
The ideal candidate will be require:
* Experience of Minute Taking and/or ability to convey discussion points in a clear written format.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills to enable them to manage a high workload whilst meeting statutory timescales.
* Ability to manage a busy workload and demonstrate the ability to prioritise/reprioritise workloads as and when required to meet deadlines.
* Be able to demonstrate emotional resilience due to nature of meeting content.
* Ability to manage sensitive information and data whilst adhering to GDPR.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages particularly Word and basic Excel
