Job Description
Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the Energy Renewables Sector on a Permanent Position based in Staffordshire.
Role Overview:
Provide commercial support to project teams, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and company objectives. Manage commercial interactions with clients, subcontractors, and third parties, including handling variations, claims, and payments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project & Financial Management: Support project delivery and financial performance, ensuring alignment with commercial strategy and standards.
* Contract Management: Handle contractual changes, manage subcontractor agreements, and ensure timely cost control and final account settlements.
* Risk & Reporting: Identify risks in bids, manage scope changes, and provide accurate cost and progress reporting.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Foster effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders, offering commercial guidance.
Requirements:
* Essential: UK Security Clearance eligibility, valid driver’s license.
* Desirable: Degree in relevant field, RICS/CIOB membership, NEC3/4 experience, UK-born (security clearance).
* Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role, ideally with NEC contracts.
