What you’ll be doing
We are seeking an experienced Marketplace Manager to drive sales and optimise our presence on international marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay. This role is pivotal to our global growth strategy, responsible for product strategy, managing listings, optimising product visibility, and increasing sales across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, analytics, and proven experience in maximising opportunities on Amazon and eBay.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketplace Strategy & Growth:
Develop and execute strategies to increase sales on Amazon, eBay, and other international marketplaces.
Identify new marketplace opportunities and optimise existing ones to maximise revenue and brand exposure.
Develop advertising strategies and adopt a test and learn approach to drive marketing ROI across the marketplaces.
Conduct competitive analysis and market research to stay updated on trends and best practices.
Product Listings & Optimisation:
Oversee product listings, ensuring accuracy, quality, and optimised SEO for increased visibility and conversion.
Collaborate with our internal teams to enhance content, including descriptions, images, and other assets to meet marketplace standards.
Analytics & Performance Tracking:
Monitor and analyse marketplace KPIs, including traffic, conversion rates, and sales performance.
Generate insights and reports to inform data-driven decisions and recommendations.
Utilise marketplace analytics tools to identify areas of opportunity and optimise listing performance.
Compliance & Relationship Management:
Liaise with our customer service team to resolve customer queries and claims.
Ensure compliance with each marketplace's policies and guidelines.
Build and maintain relationships with Amazon, eBay, and other marketplace representatives to leverage platform support and insights.
We’d Love to Meet Someone With
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing Amazon and eBay for a retail or ecommerce brand.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Amazon and eBay marketplaces, including SEO, PPC, content management, and performance optimisation.
Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Amazon Seller Central, eBay Seller Hub, Google Analytics).
Competencies:
Data-driven mindset with a focus on ROI and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
