About the Role
Position: Maintenance Technician
Type: Full-Time
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45
Friday: 08:00 - 12:00 (early finish!)
Pay Rate: £18-£25 per hour, based on experience
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
Experience: At least 2 years in a technician role within a manufacturing industry.
Skills:
Proficiency with semi-automated machines using PLC, electrical, and pneumatic controls.
Ability to fault-find, repair, and prevent issues through planned maintenance.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering principles and practical applications.
Mindset: A can-do attitude and enthusiasm to jump straight into the role.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and optimize production equipment to meet targets.
Develop and document technical procedures, including TPM schedules.
Manage and perform tasks under the Planned Maintenance system.
Calibrate production equipment and service gas regulators.
Ensure adequate spare parts are available for quick responses to component failures.
