Job Description
A reputable Machinery and Metal Fabrication manufacturer in the West Yorkshire region are looking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. This company specialise in a number of sectors including Healthcare, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and many more.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, youll report directly to the Engineering Manager and focus on the design and development of new Machinery and Equipment. This is a full life-cycle role where youll oversee design projects from initial conception, including blank sheet design, specifications, 3D modelling and taking designs through to manufacture.
This is a great opportunity to work in a multi-skilled Engineering team consisting of Mechanical, Electrical, Controls and Applications Engineers on complex machinery and equipment.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements
- HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong 3D CAD Skills
- Sheet Metal Fabrication & Complex Machined Parts (essential)
- Experience in Machinery Design (desirable)
- Previous Experience in a Production/Manufacturing Environment
- Flexible Working
