The Production Technician will be part of a small team of skilled people. You will be responsible for the following:
* Building assemblies, sub-assemblies and complete systems to engineering drawings.
* Operating in a low-volume, high-value environment where it will typically take 2-3 weeks to build 1 full system.
* Mechanical assembly of frames, and cabinets as well as some more intricate assembly work.
* Pre-testing some assemblies before sending complete products through to the test department.
The Candidate: Electro-mechanical Assembler
The successful candidate will consider themselves to have experience in an electrical or electro-mechanical manufacturing environment, and will also:
* Have experience with electro-mechanical equipment build.
* Experience with wiring looms and wiring control units.
* Good mechanical assembly experience, from intricate work up to large-scale frame build.
* Be organised and disciplined, ensuring no shortcuts are taken to ensure product quality
