Job Description

About the role The candidate's purpose will be to provide administrative support to the attorney and candidate's attorneys he/she will have to report to the Director or the host, without such a candidate the firm will not function effectively as stipulated herein. Responsibilities Drafting and proofreading legal documents, managing attorneys as well as their calendars, including court dates, and responding to emails. Perform legal research, such as reviewing legal publications and database searches. Preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and other material for case presentation. Prepare invoices and distributions to bill clients, create and maintain case files including transcripts The need to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and ethical standards good communication skills, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication. Setting up appointments with witnesses, and attending courts to take notes. Act as liaison between internal department and external agencies. Requirements Qualification in Administration. South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34. Must not have taken part in the YES Program before.
