SAP MDG Consultant - Configuration & Implementation

Role Duration : 6 months to 1 year Location : Remote Working Hours : Full Time (As per company timings) Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Preferred Experience Required : 6-8 Years Role Overview : We are seeking an SAP MDG Consultant with hands-on expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), SAP NetWeaver, and ABAP programming. The ideal candidate will excel in configuring MDG, enhancing data and UI models, process workflows, and integrating with external systems. This role requires strong technical proficiency, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments. Key Responsibilities : 1. SAP MDG Configuration and Customization : Design, configure, and implement SAP MDG solutions, including : - Data Modeling : Define and optimize master data models. - UI Modeling : Customize user interfaces for MDG applications. - Process Modeling : Develop workflows and approval processes. - Data Replication : Configure ALE/IDOCs and ensure data synchronization. - Error Handling : Implement mechanisms to manage and resolve errors. - Develop and manage WebDynpro applications, Webservices, and ODATA services. - Perform SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) configuration and API programming for seamless system integrations. 2. ABAP Development and NetWeaver Expertise Develop and customize applications using : - Core ABAP : Reporting, debugging, and custom development. - Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP) : Develop classes, methods, and reusable components. - Data Migration Tools : Use LSMW and other migration tools for data transfer. Work on Enhancements and Customizations including : - BRF Rules Engine for business rules and validations. - BADI Implementations to enhance standard MDG processes. - Interface Controllers and Function Panels (FPM). 3. Custom Development and Enhancements Enhance and optimize the following components : - Data Modeling: Customize and extend existing data models. - Process Modeling: Streamline workflows and process execution. - UI Modeling: Develop user-friendly and responsive interfaces. Develop hands-on solutions such as : - Custom Reports : Generate and optimize custom ABAP reports. - BADI Implementations : Extend system functionality as per requirements. - WebDynpro Enhancements : Customize web-based applications. - Classes and Methods : Implement reusable ABAP solutions. - IDOCs, SOA, and Webservices : Integrate and communicate with external systems effectively. 4. MDG Project Implementation : Participate in full-cycle MDG implementation projects, including : - Requirement gathering and analysis. - Solution design, development, and deployment. - Integration testing and quality assurance. - Post-implementation support and enhancements. Provide hands-on expertise in : - Enhancing data, process, and UI models. - Managing and optimizing data replication and error-handling processes. Key Skills and Competencies : Technical Skills : - SAP MDG : Configuration, Data and UI Modeling, Process Workflows, ALE/IDOCs, Error Handling. - ABAP Programming : Core ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP, BRF, BADI Implementations, FPM. - WebDynpro & Web Services : Hands-on experience in developing web-based solutions and integrating APIs. - SAP NetWeaver : Strong knowledge of NetWeaver architecture and tools. - Migration Tools : LSMW, ALE/IDOCs, SOA configurations.
