Duration : 6 Months Location : Hyderabad Work Timings : Full-Time (As per company policies) Notice Period : Immediate Joiner Preferred Experience Required : 6-8 Years Role Overview : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dynamics AX to Dynamics 365 Migration Lead to manage and execute our migration project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex migration projects, a deep understanding of Dynamics AX 2012 and Dynamics 365 environments, and exceptional leadership and communication skills. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to our production environment while aligning the project with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities : 1. Project Leadership : - Lead the planning, execution, and management of the migration project from Dynamics AX 2012 to Dynamics 365. - Develop and oversee robust project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure successful delivery. 2. System Analysis and Strategy Development : - Conduct a thorough analysis of the current AX 2012 environment to identify customizations, integration points, and data migration requirements. - Design and implement effective migration strategies, including data validation, performance optimization, and post-migration support mechanisms. 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration : - Collaborate with IT, finance, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide regular updates. 4. Team Leadership and Guidance : - Lead the migration team by setting clear objectives, monitoring progress, and addressing challenges promptly. - Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment to achieve project goals. 5. Documentation and Reporting : - Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project, including project plans, risk assessments, and progress reports. - Create detailed records of system changes, migration processes, and lessons learned for future reference. 6. Training and User Support : - Provide training and guidance to end-users on new functionalities and changes within Dynamics 365. - Ensure smooth adoption by addressing user queries and offering post-migration support. 7. Innovation and Best Practices : - Stay updated on the latest features and updates in Dynamics 365 to leverage improvements that add value to the organization. - Implement best practices for system migration and integration. Qualifications and Skills : Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience : 10 years of experience with Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365, with a strong focus on migration projects. - Proven expertise in managing large-scale migration projects, including timeline management, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement. Technical and Functional Expertise : - In-depth knowledge of the technical and functional aspects of Dynamics AX 2012 and Dynamics 365. - Strong understanding of data migration strategies, performance tuning, and system integration. Skills : - Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. - Strong communication and leadership abilities to lead teams and coordinate with stakeholders. - Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality and detail.
