The Role and Its Responsibilities
As an MEP Aftercare Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring clients receive exceptional maintenance and warranty services for their Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Your responsibilities will include:
Client Champion: Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Warranty Coordination: Managing warranty claims efficiently in collaboration with contractors and suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
Maintenance Oversight: Overseeing both planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
Collaboration and Troubleshooting: Working closely with internal teams and subcontractors to address and resolve any technical MEP challenges that may arise.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, performance reports, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance service delivery.
Compliance: Ensuring all MEP activities comply with industry safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
The Individual
The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer care, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering the highest standards of service to clients.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 2–3 years in MEP coordination, project management, or a similar role within the construction or building services industry.
Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a strong understanding of MEP systems and proficiency in relevant management tools.
Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in Math and English (Grade C/4 or higher). Additional qualifications in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field would be advantageous.
