Mechanical Design Engineer - Permanent
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's team in the heart of Stoke on Trent. As a leading manufacturer our client offers competitive holiday packages, excellent benefits, and a friendly working environment.
Job Description:
Take full control of projects from contract specification handover to design, approval, and monitoring of build.
Produce concept outlines and detailed mechanical design drawings.
Ensure compliance with legislative requirements such as C.E, HSE, etc.
Specify purchase of products and components.
Provide support to sales, workshop, technical, and site teams.
Liaise with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Maintain engineering and contract execution standards.
Support aftermarket sales, including data entry and close collaboration with clients.Qualifications:
Previous experience in design and mechanical engineering within the engineering field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor design package preferred, but training can be provided.
Knowledge of pressure filtration and industrial processes is advantageous.
