Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO)
North Tyneside
£914.70 - £1,258.55 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

Vision For Education are looking for a SENCO to join the team at one of our fantastic primary schools in North Tyneside. As a SENCO you will Determine the strategic development of special educational needs (SEND) policy and provision in the school, you’ll work and strive to deliver an outstanding working and learning experience for all.
As the SENCO you will Be responsible for day-to-day operation of the SEND policy and co-ordination of specific provision to support, individual pupils with SEN or a disability, Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents and other agencies, The SENCO will also be expected to fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document
Requirements
Qualified teacher status National Award for SEN Co-ordination
Determine the strategic development of special educational needs (SEND) policy and provision in the school
Be responsible for day-to-day operation of the SEND policy and co-ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEN or a disability
Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents and other agencies
The SENCO will also be expected to fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document
