Role: Global Head of Accounts Receivable
Salary: £120,000 per annum + 10% Annual Bonus
Location: Mayfair, London
Hours: 9am until 6pm (Hybrid 3 days in office / days from home)
Contract Type: Permanent
About the Role
Are you an experienced leader in Accounts Receivable with a proven track record of driving global strategies, optimising cash flow, and leading high-performing teams?
My client, a leading organisation in the aviation sector, is seeking a Global Head of Accounts Receivable to oversee their worldwide AR function. This pivotal role will ensure efficient management of receivables, adherence to compliance, and timely collections while fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
·Develop and execute a global AR strategy aligned with financial goals.
·Lead regional AR teams across 6 global offices, managing a team of over 60 professionals.
·Implement process improvements and automation strategies to enhance efficiency.
·Optimize cash flow and manage risk across a complex and diverse receivables ledger.
Operational Management:
·Oversee invoicing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution activities.
·Monitor AR ageing reports, ensuring timely corrective actions.
·Establish and maintain global AR standard operating procedures in compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.
·Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Customers, and internal teams to balance customer satisfaction with accelerated cash flow.
·Provide detailed AR performance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
·Support critical month-end financial close processes related to revenue recognition.
·Build, mentor, and lead a globally distributed AR team.
·Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
·Drive training and development initiatives to enhance team performance.
Skills & Experience Required:
·10+ years of AR management experience, with at least 5 years in a global leadership role.
·Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is ideal but not essential
·Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) and AR automation tools.
·Strong understanding of global accounting principles and financial regulations.
·Proven experience leading large, cross-functional, and geographically dispersed teams.
·Exceptional analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
·Experience in a high-pressure, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
·Prior exposure to luxury brands or High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) clients is highly desirable.
