Job Description
Position : Quality Engineer
Location : Lincoln
Sector : Manufacturing
Salary : £38,000 - £42,000
Monday-Friday

Duties:
· Identification of components to be subject to Incoming inspection and associated processes.
· Support Inspection for both Incoming and Outgoing components
· Completion of FAIR's
· Non-Conformance Managements and Improvement.
· Vendor Audits and Improvement Activity
· Monthly Vendor OTD report ownership.
· Internal Audits.
· Problem Solving - Identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
· Continuous Improvement activity.
· Data Analysis relating to Internal process control.
· Further develop and implement both existing and new Inspection Standards.
· Provide guidance to others regarding QMS processes, generally accepted good industry practice and Quality tools
· Create quality system tools and references to support a 'right first time' quality culture.
· Reports key performance measures, performance levels and trends for all aspects of the quality management system.
· Provide relevant and actionable information and data to various levels of management review meetings and strategy discussions.
Requirements
· Degree qualified in mechanical engineering or equivalent
· Quality related work experience in manufacturing company
· Experience with Electronics would be beneficial
· Experienced in Internal Audits.
· Strong analytical skills
· Good MS Office skills, experience in SAP is beneficial.
· Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Knowledge of ISO 9001.
· Great communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
