The Role
As a Constructional Designer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all client briefs are met within set parameters, on time, and to the highest quality. Your role will involve producing corrugated POS designs for a diverse range of clients, liaising directly with them from initial concept to completion, and providing the Account Management teams with accurate CAD drawings, assembly instructions, planograms, and prototypes. Quality control at every stage of the process is paramount.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer all briefs within client parameters, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
* Produce corrugated POS designs for a comprehensive range of clients.
* Communicate direct with clients from concept to completion.
* Take full ownership and understanding of client designs and concepts.
* Provide accurate CAD drawings, prototypes, assembly instructions etc. to the Account Management teams.
* Ensure projects are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
* Maintain quality control throughout all processes.
Skills and Experience
* At least 3 years working experience in the packaging industry within the corrugated POS marketplace.
* Strong background and experience working with CAD software/Artios CAD.
* A good knowledge of Adobe CS packages would be of advantage.
* A keen eye for detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
* Ability to work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Excellent time management and communication skills.
* Proactive with a can-do attitude.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Natural creative flair.
Remuneration
You will receive a salary of circa £35k-£40k
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
