Job Description
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced career highways Site Agent with a Tier 1 principal contractor.
As an Agent, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving project success through strong leadership, strategic planning, and effective performance management.
Duties will include
* Planning and programming of the works
* Monitoring and implementing the financial controls and cost reports
* Management and monitoring of Sub Agents, Section Engineers, the delivery team and subcontractors
* Set targets and KPI’s in line with key outputs and monitors performance
* Management of plant, materials and subcontractors
* Oversee and manage traffic management plans
* Liaise and chair client/project meetings
* Oversee daily administration, quality, audits, permits and records
* Implement company procedures and protocols
* Compilation of Method statements and risk assessments
* Interpreting and implementing of the design
* Ensure Health and Safety compliance
Requirements for this project include –
* Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineer or similar, CSCS, SMSTS
* Professional accreditation or working toward it
* A career highways Engineer with extensive highways construction experience for tier one or principal Contractors in the UK.
* Highly knowledgeable on the NEC and commercially astute
* Proven management and leadership skills coupled with a strong work ethic
* A proven record of delivering similar projects successfully as a Site Agent having progressed through the engineering ranks from Site Engineer to Sub Agent
* Self-motivated, confident and responsible with a “Can do” positive attitude
