This is an exciting opportunity to lead a hospital that is part of a wider, prestigious group of healthcare facilities.

The Role

As the Hospital Director, you will hold overall responsibility for the operational, financial, and clinical performance of the hospital. Working closely with the executive team, your leadership will ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care, operational efficiency, and sustained financial growth.

This role requires a proactive and results-oriented leader with strong commercial acumen and a track record of successfully managing healthcare facilities. You will inspire and empower multidisciplinary teams, driving innovation, regulatory compliance, and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the hospital’s day-to-day operations, ensuring excellence in clinical, operational, and financial outcomes.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and maintain competitive positioning in the local healthcare market.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, including CQC requirements.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among staff.
• Manage budgets, financial performance, and profitability targets.
• Act as the hospital’s primary representative, building strong relationships with stakeholders, including consultants, insurers, and the local community.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in senior leadership within the healthcare sector, ideally in private hospitals.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and driving financial performance.
• A solid understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
• A commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and outcomes.

What’s on Offer:
