SEND Teaching Assistant (Full Time)
Rotherham
£420.00 - £445.00 per week
Start date: 13th January 2025 – July 2025
Working hours 08:45am - 15:30pm
The School and Role
This committed SEND School based in the Rotherham educates young people with SEND from ages 3 to 19 with severe and complex needs. Here you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment. You will work closely with students, with additional needs such as learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), physical disabilities, and emotional or behavioural challenges,
This role requires a highly motivated, adaptable, committed, enthusiastic and resilient Teaching Assistant with great communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting the Team Teacher. You will have experience working with young people with Special Educational Needs. You will work as part of a dedicated and committed team that have a child-centred approach in all they do.

Requirements
The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with EYFS to post 16 aged young people
- Be flexible, adaptable and resilient
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress pupils with SEND
- An ability to work as part of a team
