Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Safety Engineer Manager at our clients site in Stevenage or Bristol, with flexibility for remote work. The Safety Engineer Manager will be responsible for management and senior expertise in the safety and reliability engineering team, team leadership, Stakeholder management, project controllers, Engineers output, project management, and integration tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable knowledge of, and experience in, the application of UK and International safety and system engineering processes, especially Def Stan 00-056.
• Good knowledge of complex electronic systems and the associated safety issues (but other engineering subject areas, such as design, software, manufacture, etc, will be considered for candidates with the right strengths in other areas).
• Ideally degree qualified or equivalent.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good verbal, written communications analytical and problem solving skills.
