We’re looking for a detail-oriented and people-focused Operations/Onboarding Specialist to enhance and streamline our onboarding processes. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping Montu’s culture and ensuring new team members feel welcomed, supported, and prepared to thrive. You’ll work closely with a collaborative People & Talent team to deliver innovative and engaging onboarding programs that inspire and empower employees in a fast-growing, mission-driven organisation.

What are we looking for?
We’re seeking someone with experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced environment, who understands the unique needs of onboarding in a rapidly evolving company. You’ll be a proactive problem-solver, an adaptable communicator, and someone who thrives on connecting people with purpose and clarity.
What will you do?
- Create a structured yet adaptable onboarding experience that aligns with our fast-paced, innovative culture
- Coordinate onboarding schedules, prepare materials, and facilitate orientation sessions to ensure new hires feel welcomed and informed
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their initial days, answering questions and providing resources to aid their transition
- Work closely with the People & Culture Manager and department leaders to align onboarding processes with team-specific needs and company objectives
- Continuously improve the onboarding process, implementing feedback from new hires and stakeholders to enhance the experience in a high-growth environment
- You’ll be a great fit if you’re a self-starter who can navigate ambiguity and is passionate about creating an onboarding experience that supports new hires in hitting the ground running.
What do you need?
- Demonstrable experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth company, with a background in HR, onboarding, or a similar role focused on new employee integration
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and support new hires in a dynamic environment
- Strong organisational skills and adaptability, with the ability to manage multiple onboarding schedules and evolving processes
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills to navigate complex onboarding needs
- Enthusiasm for collaborative work, with a willingness to improve and scale onboarding processes to keep up with company growth
