About the Role:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving growth and expanding market presence for our storage systems solutions, including racking, shelving, and mezzanine floors. This role will involve developing and executing strategic business development plans, building relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying new business opportunities across various industries. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in achieving revenue targets and enhancing the company's position as a market leader in storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities in the storage systems sector.
- Develop and execute a national business development strategy aligned with growth objectives.
- Lead efforts to secure new business opportunities and partnerships across the country.
- Achieve or exceed revenue targets through proactive sales strategies, including direct sales and partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the company’s products and tailor solutions to meet client needs.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market insights, and performance metrics for senior management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or sales, preferably within the storage systems, industrial solutions, or construction sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth on a national scale.
- Experience with racking, shelving, mezzanine floors or related products is essential.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- High level of initiative and self-motivation, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel across the country when necessary.
- Valid UK driving license.
