Senior Social Worker - Family Assessments
Location: Staffordshire Salary: £ - £45,000
We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join a team in Staffordshire, based at a brand-new family assessment service.
About the Role
You will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive family assessments, aligned with individual care plans. Your expertise in report writing, strong communication skills, and ability to manage a demanding workload are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough family assessments.
Collaborate with the service leadership team to enhance assessment processes.
Contribute to the development of staff and resident training programs.
Maintain a reduced caseload to effectively fulfil other duties.
Essential Requirements:
Degree in Social Work or equivalent Diploma
Social Work England (SWE) registration
Proven experience in residential family assessment centres, community assessment teams, or conducting assessments
Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
Experience in court report writing
Proven ability to work effectively with parents and children
Strong analytical and evaluation skills
