Job Description

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Managerrequired to join a leadingmechanical engineering supplier in Scotland.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Developmentwillfocus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for mechanical engineering equipment such as pumps, valves, pipework and other related products / systems.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager willideallyhave experience selling or managing key accounts of mechanical engineering products such as hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, compressors, valves, pipework.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role
  • Develop new business opportunities and manage key accounts for mechanical engineering equipment such as pumps, valves, pipework and other related products / systems.
  • Maintainingpump product and system sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
  • Responsible for pre-sales technical assistance as well as providing end solution / application support for all customer needs / requirements.
  • Provide after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required to customers within a variety of industries such as energy from waste, chemical, water, pharmaceutical, steel and more
  • Work remotely/ field-basedcovering North Scotland with regular visits to customer sites.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similarwithin a mechanical engineering environment.
  • Experience selling or managing key accounts for mechanical engineering related equipment such as such as hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, compressors, valves, pipework and or similar products / systems is highly desirable, however having sold similar mechanical products into related industries is also of interest.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the North of Scotland.
