Technical Sales Engineer

Our client is a leading player in Manufacturing, operating on an international scale. They are committed to innovation, excellence, and ethical business practices.

As their new Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding customer needs and requirements and proposing appropriate solutions. Additionally support pro-active outbound initiatives and campaigns and be responsible for a sales pipeline following up quotations and closing down opportunities.

The role of Technical Sales Engineerwill be responsible for the following areas:

• Providing solution based approach to formulating quotations
• Build and maintain a high level of product knowledge
• Collaborating with production, engineering and customer service departments to ensure viability of proposed solution and delivery time scale
• Develop strong customer relationships to nurture and grow the customer base
• Optimise customer satisfaction through continually improving internal quotation process

• Strong communications skills both verbal and written
• Preferably experience with MS Office, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
• Ability to read and understand complex documents and customer requirements
• Excellent communication, presentation skills and professional presence
• Experience of working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Previous customer service experience
