Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Cheshire as a full-time SEN Support Assistant. This role will begin in January and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extending beyond that.
In this role, you will provide one-to-one and small group support to SEN pupils, ensuring they have the resources and attention they need to thrive in the classroom. You will be working closely with teachers to implement tailored learning strategies, helping to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all students. Your efforts will be essential in monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff to ensure every child’s needs are met.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN children, although this is not essential. More importantly, you should have a caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting pupils. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential in this role. A valid DBS check will be required.
This is a full-time, term-time position offering a competitive daily rate of £85. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
