Job Description
Flair Group is currently working with an industry-recognized building maintenance and fit-out contractor. With national contracts and partnerships with the UK's most established companies, they are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Brighton.
As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to support our operations
* Maintain and update a database of active and inactive suppliers
* Manage supplier performance metrics, including:
* Quote speed
* Quality (customer complaint rate, audit performance, certifications)
* On-time delivery
* Cost performance
* Volume allocation
* Evaluate quotes returned from suppliers and negotiate terms to achieve the best value
* Negotiate and manage master agreements with suppliers
* Monitor and report on supplier performance, addressing any issues promptly and effectively
* Collaborate with internal teams to align supply chain activities with company objectives
* Drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes and supplier relationships
Experience required:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role
* Proven experience in supplier negotiation and vendor management
* Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and efficiency
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt in a fast-paced environment
* A strategic thinker with a passion for continuous improvement in supply chain operations
